The following energy and efficiency measures were incorporated into the design of the plant:
- High efficiency direct gas fired fully modulating warm air handling units to the Production Area
- High efficiency, low NOx gas fired condensing storage combination boilers serving the Amenities block and Canteen
- Rainwater Harvesting System
- Direct flush urinal controls
- Low energy extract fans with occupancy sensing
- Heat Recovery Supply and Extract Ventilation
- Metering & Energy Monitoring System
- Photovoltaic System
- Energy efficient lighting throughout
- PIR lighting controls to the corridors and WCs
- PIR and daylight sensing controls to the production area
