Durham University Data Centre
A new high density data centre, housed within the Arthur Holmes building located on the Durham University Science Campus.
The design includes 3 No air cooled high efficiency chillers, each having a cooling capacity of 429 kW, and a dry air cooler rated at 800 kW cooling capacity. These provide chilled water to water cooled rack systems in addition to computer room down flow units. In order to provide N+1resilience, additional HV and LV distribution systems were provided along with standby generation and UPS facilities.
