The existing Hospice was a single storey six bed unit with two adjacent Grade 2 listed buildings set in a local conservation area.

The project consisted of replacing the existing ward block with a new three story 30 bed facility. The two listed buildings were refurbished to produce teaching facilities and office accommodation.
